3. What is our ultimate labor in this life? Who will help us?
Day 2: Read Moroni 9:7-19
4. Give two reasons the armies of Nephites and Lamanites performed atrocities of war upon their prisoners.
5. For what did Mormon pray? Why do you think he was especially concerned about the widows and fatherless women?
6. According to Moromon, what two qualities were the Nephite armies lacking? What did they delight in?

7. Why couldn’t Mormon recommend his people to God? Who could he recommend? Why?
8. Why did Mormon believe he would see Moroni again soon?

13. List gifts of the Spirit recorded by Moroni.
14. Compare Moroni’s list of spiritual gifts with those in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 and D&C 46:11-26. Realizing these lists are not exclusive, which gift is unique to Moroni’s list?
15. According to D&C 46:12, why are we given divers gifts?
Day 6: Read Moroni 10:20-29; 2 Nephi 28:1-2
16. How do gifts of the Spirit help build faith, hope and charity? Are these attributes also gifts of the Spirit?
17. What can cause the end of spiritual gifts?

2. Read Psalm 95:6-11 (with footnote 11b), Matt. 11:28, Jacob 1:7-8. What is the “rest of the Lord”? The word “rest” is used twice in Moroni 7:3. Is there a difference between the first and the second usage? What do faith and hope have to do with entering into that rest?
