Day 2: Read Moroni 2; 3 Nephi 18:36-39
4. Read 3 Nephi 18:36-39. What was the setting for the events recorded in Moroni 2?

5. Why did the Savior call each apostle by name? In whose name were they to give the Holy Ghost?

6. What were the Nephite 12 commanded to do before they exercised their priesthood?

Day 3: Read Moroni 3; D&C 20:38-44
7. Read D&C 20:38-44. Why do we call apostles elders?

8. What impresses you most about Moroni’s message as it relates to the church being a “house of order” (see D&C 88:119)?

13. Read D&C 27:2-4. Why don’t we use wine as a sacramental emblem today?


14. Look up the words “sanctify” and “sacrament” in a dictionary. Although we ask the Father to sanctify the emblems of the sacrament, what is our part in making these emblems sacred?
